Drop PR event

OVERVIEW

In 2019 Drop made its transition from Massdrop to Drop. To introduce their new brand, they hosted an event in New York City for media outlets including Business Insider, Gizmodo, Digital Trends and Buzzfeed.

APPROACH
The plan was to showcase four popular communities from the Drop brand, which included Blades, Outdoor, Mech Keys and Audiophile. The main challenge was to create multiple small-scale experimental spaces that showcased Drop’s vision and products while staying on budget, and delivering assets within a tight seven-day turnaround.

Tying it all together.

For the Audiophile community space, our goal was to create an immersive experience that mimicked the feeling of listening to music live at a concert. I designed a series of music posters featuring fictional band names inspired by Drop’s communities and products. In line with Drop’s updated visual style, the posters blend classic Swiss design elements with the brand’s signature color palette- black, gray, and yellow.
